The May Crossroads Conversations will explore a reality many JWN members navigate daily—balancing leadership with caregiving responsibilities.

Caregiving continues to fall disproportionately on women, who make up roughly two-thirds of all caregivers. This responsibility spans across all life stages and career paths—women are just as likely to take on caregiving roles whether they are working, leading, or not employed outside the home.

Many women leaders also find themselves part of the “sandwich generation,” simultaneously caring for children and aging family members—sometimes referred to as “triple-duty care.”
